Thinstall is actively seeking a Territory Manager for the East Coast located in NY or NJ. The ideal candidate will have come up through the sales ranks of technology focused companies and has proven experience building sales team in order to drive business in the New York area. The individual will be responsible for selling and marketing Thinstall's Virtualization Suite to Fortune 500 companies. Must have excellent communications skills and have a Wall St. client rolodex in place.
Primary Responsibilities
• Business planning including growth planning, client targeting and solution targeting
• Development of new targeted key accounts
• Upselling existing accounts
• Selling directly to the executive level
• Developing relationships with business partners to generate leads and support
• Be able to act as a product specialist assessing requirements
• Solution selling through product alignment
• Partner recruitment
• Quota planning/target setting
• Understanding competitive positioning and developing responses
Requirements
• Minimum 7-10 years sales experience and 2 years sales management required
• Preferably in virtualization technology solution sales
• Assertive, team-oriented leadership style
• Bottom-line orientation coupled with strong relationship skills
• Strong track record of sales accomplishments and results
• Demonstrated track record of successfully recruiting, hiring, training, managing and motivating people
